Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company is heading to Brazil for its latest international co-pro.. The company is teaming with Spiral International and Boutique Films on medical thriller series Suture, which has landed at Prime Video in Latin America and Portugal and will be unveiled at MIPCOM next week. North Road retains the rights to produce an English-language version.
The North Road Company has made a major hire in the UK, bringing in former Channel 4 drama boss Caroline Hollick. Based out of London, Hollick will be North Road’s Senior VP International Production and Development. She’ll work closely with North Road President of Television Amy Israel and her LA-based team to identify “fresh voices and top creative talent for North Road to collaborate with in the UK and other European markets.”

The North Road Company has hired Netflix and HBO vet Rochelle Gerson as head of business affairs. She will oversee the strategy and execution of all content deals across North Road’s portfolio of production companies. She will also provide counsel to North Road’s executive team, including Amy Israel, Jenno Topping, Jan Frouman, Chris Coelen, Connor Schell, and Darian Singer, and report to CEO David Nevins.
